Marketing Mouse Celebrates One Year in Hertford by Offering Free Digital Services for Local Businesses

Marketing Mouse, a local digital marketing agency, is offering businesses and organisations in East Hertfordshire the opportunity to benefit from free website design, online advertising, and search engine optimisation (SEO) services. The offer is in celebration of Marketing Mouse’s successful first year in Hertford.

The creation of Marketing Mouse is a rare positive story to emerge from the COVID-19 pandemic. Speaking on what inspired him to start the company, founder Jesse Hopkins, explained, “I love Hertford and the surrounding area. I moved here with my wife 4 years ago from London and our quality of life has improved massively thanks to the friendly people, welcoming environment, and stellar local businesses.”

“I actually started Marketing Mouse in October 2019 on the side of full-time employment, regularly getting up at 6am and sacrificing my weekends. The inspiration to start the business came from that deeply rewarding feeling you get when helping people, as well as my desire to offer sound digital marketing services at a cost-effective rate. After 10 years in the industry, it felt like the right time to go for it.”

Lockdown and furlough turned out to be a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity for Jesse who used the newfound time to take Marketing Mouse full-time. Jesse said, “The free time allowed me to work with more clients and quit my job. Last July, I finally registered Marketing Mouse as a limited company. Now, I would really like to give something back to Hertford and its surrounding areas. There are so many great businesses here and we’d love the opportunity to get more involved.”

We’re saddened by closed shops, while projects such as Bircherley Green in Hertford bring us great joy. Town centres are needed in our society and more needs to be done to support them. Ultimately, in today’s world, great companies need to leverage both online and offline presences to capture customers.
