A busy week for The Mayor of Hertford
The Mayor of Hertford, Cllr Bob Deering had a busy week welcoming back businesses who re-opened in the town as well as officially opening a new supermarket.
On Tuesday 14th July, the Hertford Museum re-opened its doors to welcome back residents and town visitors. Hertford’s museum was one of only two within Hertfordshire that has re-opened since the lockdown. https://www.hertfordmuseum.org/
On Thursday 16th July, supermarket giant, Aldi opened its doors and was officially opened by The Mayor of Hertford. The supermarket will employ 40+ staff within the local community. The nearby subway was also refurbished to include an exhibition of art work from the Hertford Arts Hub and local secondary schools.

The Mayor of Hertford also re-opened Hertford Theatre to public during the week. The theatre’s cinema will reopen offering an array of films to attract and entertain residents and visitors. See more here https://www.hertfordtheatre.com/
