The Home Front in Hertfordshire in WW2 - a live online local history talk given by guest speaker Marion Hill (Learning & Access Officer for Hertfordshire Archives & Local Studies)

We will be exploring how Hertfordshire supported the war effort on the Home Front and discovering how corset makers helped crack the Enigma code.
Plus Hertfordshire's role in feeding the nation and how secret experimental bombing trials in Garston led to the Dambuster raids.
