Hertford has many literary connections, from the first play in English to TS Eliot’s “Four Quartets”. On this walk we will meet the “Hertfordshire Pepys”, as well poets ranging from a contemporary of Wordsworth to a poet of World War I.  We will also hear about an early historian and a cookery writer. Join us to find out where Mr Darcy refused to dance with Elizabeth Bennett.
