We at Abel feel very privileged to have secured our new office in an incredibly beautiful and historic building at 2 Market Place, adjacent to Parliament square in the heart of Hertford

Advice will be given freely and there will be a focus on building customer loyalty through trust and great service in contrast to the ‘hard sell’ attitude with hidden clauses, which has sadly been an all too common approach in our industry, integrity is paramount to us.
Because we are independent we are free to give transparent advice with no head office to answer to. We care about our business in a way no passing manager of a chain ever could. We equip our team with the latest market intelligence, and every technology, to make our service more responsive. We also want to give customers the personal and caring service that only comes from an independent, family run business. We truly believe that because of these qualities and lots of hard work we will be able to redefine a sometimes negative view of estate agency and become a trusted and important part of our local community.
We have both worked for many years and are firmly established within the property industry, with an existing and large client portfolio. We have lived in the area most of our adult lives so know every street, mews and country lane there is to know. Having four of our own children who go to a local school has firmly embedded us in the community and we realize that because of the value of word of mouth in a tight-knit local area, a good reputation is key. Our team includes three other property specialists, Mario, Sammi and Sophie, each having been hand picked to enhance the service available to customers, bringing not only their extensive property experience but also something a little different to the table, from Law to Industrial Engineering. The most important quality for being on the Abel team however is a passion for customer care and the pleasure taken in finding people their dream home!
Abel will be the most up to date estate agency in and around Hertford, we aren’t shying away from the fast pace world of technology but embracing it and using it to its full potential, realizing its power in a modern world. That’s why we have invested in up to the minute technology, the best on the market and the fastest in the industry. Such as a 47inch touch screen in our office window for 24/7 browsing so customers can view properties even when the office is closed. We have in house iPads for customer use, providing the highest quality visual technology so that properties can be viewed in their best light. We have also invested in a top of the range Photography Drone that takes high quality aerial images of our properties and their surroundings so prospective buyers and tenants can get a better view of our properties before taking the time to do viewings. Another example of our flexibility and commitment to our customers are our longer weekday opening hours which will be from 7am-8pm Monday to Friday, so working people can pop in before or after work. We are also open at the weekends on Saturday 9am-5pm and Sunday 10am-2pm.
At Abel of Hertford we understand that everyone is unique and no customer needs or desires are ever quite the same, because of this we offer ‘wrap around’ customer care from start to finish including a Personal Property Consultant assigned to each client, taking care of all their needs and advising on everything from local schools, to the nicest shops and restaurants in the area. We are providing a shuttle service in our company cars to property viewings in and around Hertford so customers can relax and take in the views of the beautiful county we live in!
