Former Great Britain Paralympic Medallist Ian Rose to
Present Motivational Event for Entrepreneurs
‘Be More, Achieve More, Smile More. It’s not all about the medals.’
Hertford Town Council will be hosting the next Hertford Entrepreneurs event on Thursday 30th May at Hertford Castle, from 18.30 until 20.00.
The event will start with wine, nibbles and networking from 18.30 – 19.00 followed by an hour’s talk from retired GB double Paralympic medallist, motivational speaker and business coach, Ian Rose.
Ian is one of Great Britain’s most successful Paralympic Judoka (a judo expert). He was a torchbearer and an opening ceremony performer for the London 2012 Paralympic Games, as well as winner of two Paralympic, five World Championship and nine European Championship medals.
Retiring in 2011, Ian now focuses on motivating and inspiring others to achieve their full potential and get the most out of their business, career and life.
Ian launched his business back in 2004, focusing on inspiring students in schools to be their best and now Ian and his team work with multi million pound organisations within the people development area, offering business and life changing outcomes at all levels.
A conference speaker, business coach and workshop provider. Ian specialises in business performance and helps companies focus on increasing revenues, create a happier workforce and to remember why they started.
At this event, entrepreneurs will be inspired, motivated and entertained.
Hear how Ian changed from being a shy seven year old who was teased about his disability and looks, into a director of his own successful business, and a double Paralympic medallist. He will steer entrepreneurs through the highs and lows of his life, and highlight the similarities between successful business leaders and top flight sports performers.
Ian will use his sports, business and life experiences to demonstrate key learning points, particularly in relation to resilience and how to deliver high performance even on bad days.
This will be a very interactive event including group learning and deep thinking.
At the end of the event you will have gained confidence, leave with new ideas, focus your mind and learn tricks on how to overcome challenges to achieve more. Listen to Ian speak and learn some tricks on how to overcome challenges and achieve more.
The price to attend the event is £10 which includes a glass of wine and nibbles.
