The Mayor of Hertford, Councillor Rachel Carter, commented: “Hertford is the most wonderful place to live, work and visit and that’s largely due to the amazing people in our community who do so much to help others. Here is your chance to recognise our local heroes and thank them publicly for all they do; for their community, the environment or for their embodiment of the ‘Spirit of Hertford’ – that unique quality that truly encompasses all that Hertford is, with its culture, history and heritage. We look forward to receiving your nominations.”
