Hertford Castle Open Air Cinema

With Hertford Castle as the backdrop, we have two great films scheduled on Friday 16^th August 2024 set on the main lawn within the beautiful grounds of Hertford Castle.

‘Matilda – The Musical” will screen during the day, suitable for children and families, and then ‘Indiana Jones and the Dial of Destiny’ will be the evening show, suitable for an older audience.

Performance times are as follows:

2pm – Matilda the Musical (Rated: PG) Gates open at 1.30pm 

Tickets £6 per person. Children under 2 go FREE

7pm - Indiana Jones and the Dial of Destiny (Rated PG-13) Gates open at 6.30pm

Tickets £10 per person. Children under 2 go FREE

Tickets are available online at www.hertford.gov.uk/events or via the Hertford Town and Tourist Information Centre located at The Wash, Hertford. Pop in to collect in person or purchase over the phone on 01992 584322.

Visitors are invited to pitch up a chair, bring along a picnic and sit back to enjoy the show. Bar and food stalls will also be available. Plus! NEW for 2024, pre-order a takeaway Margherita pizza from Proove Hertford for only £8.00 per pizza! Simply add-on at checkout when purchasing your ticket and collect from Proove before the film. Different collection times are available and stocks are limited.
