HArts Fest 2025 - Saturday 12th April
HArts Fest is a free family event to celebrate art and literature in Hertford, which will take place at Hertford Castle on Saturday 12th April 2025, from 12 noon to 4.00pm.
Visitors will be able to browse art, literature and craft stalls and enjoy a series of art and literature-based activities on the main lawn, hosted by The Wonder Den and Hertford Library.
We will also be joined by the Hertford Art Society and Herts Book Fest.
In collaboration with Herts Book Fest there will be a programme of author led craft and writing workshops taking place inside the Castle and they will be running a Book Exchange – ‘Bring a book, Take a book’, all free of charge.
Throughout the day, visitors can enjoy a live programme of entertainment from local musicians and dance groups, plus Boxmoor Yoga will be running a session for children.
Hertford Castle will also be open for visitors to explore free of charge.
To view the full event programme please visit the Hertford Town Council website .
Councillor Ann Woodward, Chair of the Development and Leisure Committee, commented: “HArts Fest 2025 is set to be a fantastic celebration of art and culture in Hertford. Building on last year’s Harts Fest success, for 2025, we have added literature to the scope of the event.
"We are so lucky to have a wide range of organisations and businesses dedicated to literature, art and wider cultural activities across the town - Hertford Town Council is working in partnership with them to ensure that HArts Fest delivers a diverse programme that can be enjoyed by people of all ages.”
