Summer Reading Challenge 2024

How children can take part:

Sign up for FREE at your library.

Read any six library books. All reading counts, including listening to e-audiobooks, and parents or carers reading to younger ones.

After every two books, come back and tell us something about the books to collect stickers.

Once all six books have been read, children will receive a personalised certificate, a medal and a finishing gift.

They will also be entered into a prize draw to win a ticket to a creative workshop with Joshua Seigal, an award-winning poet.

Hertford library may have already been in touch to organise an assembly to encourage children to take part. If not, please contact them if you're interested in a visit from your local library team.
