Love Hertford Awards 2021

Following the success of the 2019 Love Hertford Awards, the competition will return for 2021 and launches on 11th January 2021.

Last time over 3,000 votes were cast by the public who selected their favourite traders.

The competition is aimed to recognise and commend traders in the county town of Hertfordshire, highlight the wealth of shops and services on offer in our town centre and neighbourhood shopping areas, and encourage residents to shop locally.

At this stage of the competition, businesses are invited to enter free of charge for a chance to be crowned winner of the following categories:

Fashion

Pub or Restaurant

Café or Fast Food

Hair and Beauty

Health and Wellbeing

Home and Interiors

Community and Voluntary

Food and Drink Retailers

Professional Services (eg banks, estate agents, travel agents, insurance brokers etc)

Specialised Retail (eg florist, jeweller, dry cleaner, cobbler etc)

Businesses who sell merchandise or offer a service within a retail unit can enter into a maximum of two categories and enter online by visiting

The closing date for entries is Wednesday, 10th February at 17.00.

The public will then be able to cast a vote for their preferred winner for each category. Information will be provided at the end of February.

The winner and finalist will be announced at an awards ceremony, venue and time to be confirmed.
