Hertford Literary Festival to return in July
Now in it's seventh year, the Festival is one of Hertford's best kept secrets.
The Hertford Literary Festival returns in July.
Set in the beautiful garden of The Hertford Club, the two-day event is an intimate affair, celebrating the art of spoken word, poetry, writing and music.
The free, community event takes place on Friday 4th and Saturday 5th July.
The first day of our festival will see with one of their most varied line-ups yet. If you are looking to be inspired, educated, amused, surprised and entertained by an array of fascinating guests, culminating with an interview with actor, Michael Brandon, Eclectic Friday is for you.
Then on Saturday (5th July), the festival celebrates one of the world’s greatest musical icons with a captivating line-up of guests, each of whose personal experiences will help to paint a unique picture of who David Bowie really was.
The festival is run by members of The Hertford Club. It is a non-commercial event and simply exists because we love literature and the arts and wanted an event to celebrate that.
Copies of the programme are available to collect from the Town & Tourist Information Centre at 10 - 12 The Wash, opposite BEAM.
