Hertford in Bloom back for 2021!

The competition is open to residents, schools, community groups, local businesses, located in the SG13 and SG14 postcode areas.

 The aim of the competition is to encourage the improvement of our town through the imaginative use of plants and flowers. It also aims to achieve a litter free and sustainable environment, and to beautify the town for residents.

 There are 10 great categories to choose from and judging takes place in July.

 The competition is open to everyone from novices to professional gardeners.

 Competition Categories:

 Best Front Garden (over 3 metres)           

• Best Small Garden Frontage or Balcony (under 3 metres)
• Best Public House, Hotel, Guest House,
• Best Café or Restaurant
• Best Shop or Business
• Best Hanging Basket/Planters/ Window Box
• Tallest Sunflower (under 16’s)
• Best School Garden
• Best wildlife or Environmental Plot (including Allotments)
• Best Community Accommodation, Care Homes, Nursing House or Senior Citizen Complexes

The deadline to enter the competittion is 30th of June.
