Hertford Town Council is pleased to introduce the Castle Plus Neighbourhood Area Plan. This is a unique opportunity for residents and businesses in the Castle Plus area to shape the future of our community.
The Castle Plus area covers the southern part of town, including the town centre and
Hertingfordbury village.
The first community meeting for the Castle Plus Neighbourhood Area Plan will be held on Thursday, 14th November 2024 at 7:30 pm, at Simon Balle School, Mangrove Road, SG13 8AJ.
The meeting invites residents and businesses within the Castle Plus area to let their voices be heard - to express their views, to discuss needs and priorities, and to help shape the future. It’s also an opportunity to get involved throughout the project and potentially join the steering group guiding this initiative.
As well as the meeting, we are listening via our Castle Plus Neighbourhood Area Plan Surveys for residents and businesses in the area – details at www.hertford.gov.uk/castleplus-neighbourhood-area-plan
Chair of the Castle Plus Working Party, Councillor Maura Connolly commented: “Hertford Town Council is delighted to facilitate the first community meeting for the Castle Plus area – we are looking forward to hearing the voices of local residents and businesses and we hope that people will come forward to sit on the Community Steering Group to guide and shape the future for this vibrant area.”
