From 1st – 9th March Hertford will be celebrating World Book Day with a hunt through the town for everyone’s favourite book characters. Organised by Leaf (children’s bookshop and café) in Old Cross in partnership with Hertford Library.

This exhibition charts his rise from menswear assistant to celebrity portrait artist and world renowned illustrator of gay magazines. Imprisoned as a homosexual, Ronald became an artist’s life model on his release and in later life a spiritual healer and author. At 85, Ronald continues to work in the arts, collaborating with the new wave of British artists.

ART and SCIENCE
Andrew Stevenson will be chairing a talk and debate on the genre of Art and Science on Friday March 7th, 6.30-8.00pm in the River Room Hertford Theatre.
Speakers include Susan Aldworth (who has had a recent solo show at the National Portrait Gallery) and Andrew Carnie. Both are internationally exhibited and regularly feature on Radio 4
