Brexit & its Potential Impact on Local Business - Free Event for Local Entrepreneurs

Hertford Town Council will be hosting the next Hertford Entrepreneurs event on Thursday 29th June at Hertford Castle, from 18.00 until 20.00.

Entrepreneurs are invited to register online to attend the free of charge event, which looks at ‘Brexit & its Impact on Local Businesses’.

 This event will enable entrepreneurs the opportunity to gain a deeper insight on the impact of Brexit and opportunities to their business.

 

The evening’s Guest Speaker,

Peter Harris, Co-Founder of Hotel Chocolat, will cover:

How Brexit could change business in Britain

The economy

Trading

The potential impact of Brexit

The opportunities of Brexit

Looking forward to the future

 

Guest speaker, Peter Harris, alongside his entrepreneur partner, Angus Thirlwell, opened their first Hotel Chocolat shop in 2004. The company now has 93 shops as well as cafes and restaurants. They also have opened three boutiques in Copenhagen and have a hotel on a working plantation in the Caribbean. The company has seen many periods of change and growth since it launched and Peter Harris has a wealth of knowledge, which will enable him to talk to entrepreneurs about ‘Brexit and its Potential Impact on Local Business’.

 Hertford Entrepreneurs Chairman, Isabel Sigmac said: “I am delighted that Peter Harris agreed to be our guest speaker for the upcoming Brexit event. It’s very important that local businesses understand the impact of Brexit and opportunities it presents.
