The Crafty Duck

Including beers from Pig & Porter, Beavertown, Cloudwater & The Hackney Brewery.

The bar is the brainchild of James Ashbourne, landlord of The Punch House in Ware and former landlord of The Duncombe Arms in Railway Street.

James has taken on the former premises of  florist Scarlet Rose, opposite The Blackbirds and is busy putting the finishing touches to the four drinking rooms over two floors. He also hopes to open up the courtyard at the rear of the premises.

Initially the bar is a pop-up operation pending full planning permission and licensing.

The Crafty Duck is open at 28 Parliament Square from 8th March. Opening hours are noon to 11pm Thursday to Saturday. You can also follow The Crafty Duck on Twitter.
